Superstar K

Superstar K is a South Korean music competition show aired on Mnet from July 24, 2009, to December 8, 2016. Inspired by the American Idol format, the show aimed to discover talented artists through public voting. It achieved significant success, reaching a peak rating of 18.1% (AGB Nielsen) during the Season 2 finale. Hosted by Lee Hwi-jae, Shin Jung-hwan, and Kim Seong-ju, the program earned accolades such as the Hot Variety Star award at the Mnet 20's Choice Awards in 2010. It remains a landmark in Korean music variety television.
