Interpark NOL World Guide — Concerts & Events for Foreigners

Formerly Interpark Global — how to buy K-pop concert and KTX tickets with a foreign card and no Korean ID

🕐 Last verified: June 2026
TL;DR — 3 things to know about NOL World
⚠️ Don't Use ticket.interpark.com
ticket.interpark.com is the Korean-only domestic site. It requires a Korean phone number and Korean bank card. Foreign visitors should only use world.nol.com — the international platform. If you accidentally land on the Korean site, the URL bar will show a Korean-language page and the payment system will reject foreign cards.

Artist Platform Guide — Who Lists Where

K-pop ticketing is fragmented across multiple platforms. Here's where each major agency lists.

Agency Artists Platform Foreign Card?
HYBE BTS, SEVENTEEN, NewJeans, TXT, LE SSERAFIM, &TEAM world.nol.com (NOL World) ✓ Yes
SM Entertainment EXO, aespa, NCT, SHINee, BoA, Red Velvet smtown.com Partial (try Mastercard)
JYP Entertainment TWICE, Stray Kids, ITZY, NMIXX, DAY6 Yes24 or fan club presale Yes24 International: ✓
YG Entertainment BLACKPINK, BIGBANG, TREASURE, WINNER Yes24 or YG official Yes24 International: ✓
Independent / various IU, Lim Young-woong, Epik High Melon Ticket, Interpark (Korean) Difficult (Korean only)
Pro tip: For non-HYBE artists where Korean-only platforms are involved, check if the artist's official global fan café or community board lists an alternative purchase method for international fans. Some agencies create special international allocation tickets sold separately through NOL World or Klook.

Step-by-Step: Buying Tickets on NOL World

Complete walkthrough from account creation to venue entry.

1
Visit world.nol.com (not Interpark Korean)
Type world.nol.com directly in your browser. The page should appear in English with a global events header. If you see a Korean-language page, you're on the wrong URL — add "/en" or check your region setting in the top right.
2
Sign up with Google or Apple — no Korean number needed
Click "Sign Up" and choose "Continue with Google" or "Continue with Apple." Enter your country and basic info. Complete in under 2 minutes. No Korean phone number or ID required at any step.
3
Search for your concert or event
Use the search bar (artist name in English or Korean). For BTS/SEVENTEEN/NewJeans, browse "Concerts" section — HYBE events are usually featured prominently. Filter by date and city if needed.
4
Prepare before on-sale time
For popular concerts, be logged in and have your card pre-saved in the account at least 15 minutes before on-sale. The checkout process for popular shows may time out if you're entering card details during the rush. Add your card to "Saved Payment Methods" in your account settings in advance.
5
Pay with foreign Visa or Mastercard
Enter card details at checkout. If Mastercard fails, switch to Visa and vice versa. Wise card (Mastercard) has the highest reported success rates. PayPal is sometimes available as a fallback. Transactions are in KRW — your bank converts at its rate.
6
Download e-ticket and present QR at venue
After payment, the e-ticket is emailed and available in the NOL World app. Download the ticket to your phone storage (not just email) in case you lose signal at the venue. Show the QR code at the entry gate. For some events, photo ID matching the ticket name is required — always bring your passport.
"Used NOL World for SEVENTEEN's Seoul concert. Signed up with Gmail, paid with my UK Mastercard, no issues at all. The e-ticket QR was in the app. Entry was smooth — they scanned my passport against the ticket name. Total time from signup to ticket in hand: about 8 minutes."

KTX & Rail Tickets on NOL World

NOL World also sells rail passes and individual KTX tickets for foreigners.

Korea Rail Pass (KR Pass) — Best for Multi-City Trips
✓ KR Pass — Unlimited KTX for Foreign Visitors
Available in 2, 3, 4, or 5-day unlimited versions (non-consecutive days allowed). ~₩100,000–₩250,000 depending on duration. Purchase on NOL World before or in Korea. Show your foreign passport to activate at any KTX station. Best value if you plan to travel Seoul–Busan–Gyeongju–Jeonju in one trip.
✓ Individual KTX — letskorail.com is an Alternative
letskorail.com (Korail's official site) accepts foreign Visa/Mastercard and allows single trip bookings. The English interface is functional but dated. Both NOL World and Korail show the same trains — choose whichever checkout works for your card.

Common Issues & Fixes

Payment and booking problems that foreigners encounter on NOL World.

FAIL "Payment failed / card declined on NOL World"
Most common fix: Switch card type — if Mastercard failed, try Visa and vice versa. Wise cards (Mastercard) consistently work best. Second: make sure your bank hasn't flagged the Korean transaction as suspicious — approve it in your banking app before retrying. Third: try PayPal if the option appears. Fourth: clear browser cache, switch to Chrome, and retry.
FAIL "The concert I want isn't on NOL World"
Non-HYBE artists may not list on NOL World. Check: Yes24 International (yes24.com/Global), SMTown.com for SM artists, or the artist's official Instagram/X for ticketing links. If the event is Korean-only, Klook and KKday sometimes resell international allocations. As a last resort, licensed Korean ticket brokers (listed on KTO's official site) can purchase on your behalf for a fee.
FAIL "Sold out in seconds — how do other people get tickets?"
Fan club presale is the primary advantage Korean fans have. HYBE fan memberships (Weverse) give presale access. SM's SMTOWN & STORE membership does the same. These presales happen 1–3 days before general sale and are not accessible without a membership. For general sale: be logged in and have payment saved 30 minutes before on-sale. Use the official fan café countdown timer, not just the listing page.
Frequently Asked Questions
NOL World (world.nol.com) is the rebrand of Interpark Global, completed in December 2025. It serves as the primary international ticketing platform for K-pop concerts, sports, exhibitions, and travel in Korea. The old Interpark Global URL now redirects to world.nol.com. The platform is English-language, accepts foreign cards, and requires only a Google or Apple account to sign up.
Yes. NOL World is specifically designed for international visitors. Sign up with your Google or Apple account (no Korean phone number needed), pay with foreign Visa or Mastercard, and receive an e-ticket by email. The main challenge is speed — popular concerts sell out within minutes of going on sale.
HYBE artists (BTS, SEVENTEEN, NewJeans, TXT, LE SSERAFIM) list on NOL World first, often exclusively. SM Entertainment artists (EXO, aespa, NCT) typically use SMTown.com. JYP artists (TWICE, Stray Kids) use Yes24 or fan club presales. YG artists use Yes24 or their own sites. For non-HYBE artists, check Yes24 International as an alternative that also accepts foreign cards.
Try these in order: (1) Switch card type — Mastercard vs. Visa. Wise cards (Mastercard) have the highest success rates on Korean platforms. (2) Check if your bank blocked the transaction — approve it in your banking app. (3) Try PayPal if that option appears at checkout. (4) Clear browser cache and switch to Chrome. (5) Wait 10 minutes between failed attempts to avoid fraud detection blocks. If nothing works, contact NOL World live chat support.
Yes. NOL World sells the Korea Rail Pass (KR Pass) for unlimited KTX travel over 2, 3, 4, or 5 days (non-consecutive days allowed) — excellent value for multi-city trips. For individual KTX trips, letskorail.com (Korail's official site) may offer more flexibility and also accepts foreign cards. Both show the same trains.
Unofficial resale tickets (from Telegram, social media, individuals) carry real fraud risks — fake QR codes that get rejected at the gate. NOL World has an official verified resale section where original buyers list unused tickets — use that. If you buy from an individual outside the platform, insist on a real-time QR code transfer before payment, never pay in advance without verification.
