👘 Hanbok Rental

Wearing hanbok at palace grounds = FREE palace entry. Gyeongbokgung (₩3,000 entry), Changdeokgung, Deoksugung all waive entrance fees for hanbok-wearing visitors.

Jimjilbang (찜질방) is a uniquely Korean institution — a multi-floor public bathhouse with saunas, heated rooms, communal lounges, and sleeping areas. Entry: ₩10,000–15,000 including towel and uniform.

🎤 Norebang — Private Karaoke

Norebang (노래방) = private karaoke room, not a public stage. You rent a private room with your group for 1–2 hours. Tamborine included. Snacks + drinks ordered from menu (beer, soda, chips). Absolutely zero performance anxiety required.

What to Know

  • Cost: ₩10,000–20,000/person/hour (cheaper in groups)
  • English songs: All machines have extensive English catalogs. BTS/BLACKPINK in Korean too.
  • Coin norebang (코인노래방): solo booths at ₩500–1,000/song — for the shy or the serious
  • Finding one: Search "노래방" on Naver Map — every major street has several
  • Best areas: Hongdae (lots of choice), any entertainment district
  • Scoring system (점수) adds competition — 100/100 gets a celebratory screen effect

🖥️ PC Bang — Gaming Café

Korea invented the PC bang (PC방) culture. High-end gaming stations with KeSPA-tournament-grade gear, fast food delivery to your seat, and a social atmosphere around games like League of Legends, Starcraft, and PUBG.

  • Cost: ₩1,000–2,000/hour (often unlimited drink refills included)
  • Setup: Ryzen/Intel gaming PCs, 144Hz+ monitors, gaming peripherals
  • Food: PC bang menus include ramyeon, fried chicken, drinks — served at your seat
